Childbirth Education

We believe that childbirth education should be comprehensive, interactive, and fun!

Each of these courses will offer you a wealth of evidence-based information, give you a toolbox of effective comfort & relaxation techniques, help your partner gain confidence in supporting you, equip and empower you to self advocate, and provide you with knowledge of the birth process so you can embark on your birthing journey with informed choices.

We want you to leave any of our courses with information and excitement about this significant time in your life!

For more details on each course, go to the course booking page!

All courses are created for any birthing person, regardless of your birth preferences (i.e hospital/home, medicated/unmedicated, etc).

Currently classes will be held in person - please be flexible if we need to switch to only virtual.

We follow CDC and Washoe County guidelines for Covid-19.

Instructor (Danielle) is vaccinated.

All courses have a limited class size. To hold your spot we require a deposit.

Cost covers two attendees (you+partner or other support person), a comprehensive binder, handouts, and access to exclusive client resource and information; and depending on the course - access to [M]otherboard Birth's online birth planning app.

*Although we can't accept insurance, we believe birth classes and doula support should be attainable for all - we can offer payment plans and sliding scales for those who need -- just ask!
