Two days. One comprehensive plan. We cover birth, baby, and everything in between. Whether you are planning a home or hospital birth, this intensive course provides the unbiased, evidence-based tools you need to navigate the "rhythm and flow" of your labor. From comfort measure stations to newborn practice, we ensure you and your partner leave feeling grounded and ready. Taught by a veteran doula and educator, this class is designed for parents who value their time but refuse to compromise on preparation. Over two Sundays, we move through the physiology of birth, the tangible and intangible "toolboxes" for labor, and the practical realities of it all. You aren’t just sitting in a lecture either; hello former elementary teacher vibes. You will build the confidence to navigate the "moments you can't Google." Day One: The Foundations of Labor -The Biology of Birth: Anatomy, physiology, and fetal positioning. -Understanding Labor: Stages of labor, signs of progress, and what is "normal." -The Comfort Toolbox: Non-medical pain relief, routes of safety, labor positions, and coping stations. -Medical Options: Navigating interventions and medical pain relief with confidence. Day Two: The Arrival & Beyond Advocacy: Evidence-based care, informed consent, interventions, and navigating the unexpected. The Pushing Phase: Second-stage labor tips and birth videos. Postpartum Recovery: Healing and what postpartum can look like. Newborn Care 101: Practice for feeding, soothing, and the first week home. Upcoming Course Dates - Registration open now: May 3rd & May 17th 2026 Registration opens two months prior to start date: July 19 & July 26th 2026 September 20th & September 27th 2026 December 13th & December 20th 2026 PLEASE NOTE: All courses are created for any birthing person, regardless of your birth preferences (i.e hospital/home, medicated/unmedicated, etc). Class will be held in-person. All courses have a limited class size. To hold your spot we require a deposit. Includes you & one support person.
